Isabelle Guérin est une socio-économiste, chercheuse à l’Institut de recherche pour le développement (unité Développement et sociétés), responsable du programme « Travail, finances et dynamiques sociales » de l’Institut français de Pondichéry^[1]. Outre ses travaux sur les inégalités entre sexes, elle est spécialiste de l’exclusion bancaire et financière et co-dirige le Rapport annuel « Exclusion et liens financiers » publié par le centre Walras (Université Lumière Lyon 2).

Professionnel[modifier]

Isabelle Guérin, en 1997, durant ses études, crée le Groupe de recherche pour l’usage des sciences de l’homme (GROUSHO), une association d’étudiants type junior entreprise visant à développer des contrats de recherche. En 1999, elle devient attachée temporaire d’enseignement et de recherche à l’Université de Lyon 2. En 2000, elle mute en conservant son poste à l’École Centrale de Lyon. En 2001, elle est chargée de recherche contractuelle au Centre Walras (Université de Lyon 2) dans le programme « Finance, exclusion activité ». Elle est chercheuse à IRD depuis 2012^[2] et devient membre de la School of Social Sciences, Institute for Advanced Study à Princeton pour l’année académique 2019-2020^[3].

Elle enseigne le Genre et Développement à SciencePo Toulouse et l’Économie solidaire et la financiarisation par le bas à l’École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales^[2]^,^[4].
