Youssef Boughanem (né le ) est un boxeur de muay-thaï marocain-belge.
Biographie[modifier]
Né à Bruxelles de parents marocains, il grandit dans sa ville natale dans le quartier d'Etterbeek. Youssef pratique le muay-thaï depuis son adolescence, il a commencé dans une salle de son quartier en Belgique. Suite à la mort de ses deux parents, celui-ci s'envole pour la Thaïlande à 17 ans.
Vie privée[modifier]
Il a un frère Yassine Boughanem également champion du monde, chez les poids-lourds (aussi en boxe thaïlandaise). Il est père d'un petit garçon et possède son propre camp d'entrainement basé à Pattaya.
Il parle de manière courante le thaï, le français et possède de solides bases en arabe marocain.
