Emilie Blezat is an international award winning film producer. She founded her production company Sciapode in 2003. For 15 years she focused on International talent development. She launched Academy award nominee Mickael Roskam[1], UIP award winner David Dusa[2], Director’s Guild of America laureate Wim Vandekeybus, Cannes Official Sélection nominee Sophie Fiennes, and produced twenty films selected at the Cannes Film Festival and A-list festivals and markets.
Emilie Blezat is a China expert[3][4][5][6], country where she was based from 2012 to 2018. She worked as French cultural attaché in Beijing, responsible for all media cooperation (Film, TV, New Media, Music and Gaming industries) from 2012 to 2014, before joining Vivendi in 2014. She set up the corporate structure Studiocanal China[7] to handle all film activities for the group. From 2014 to 2018, she supervised the distribution of 15 films theatrically (including Paddington 1 & 2, Non Stop, Shaun the Sheep…) in China.
À graduate from the High Business School of Paris (ESCP Europe), from Boston Olin Graduate School of Business’ MBA and with a master in Blockchain Technologies from MIT, Emilie started her career as a strategy consultant and an entrepreneurship adviser at Roland Berger.
